Who we are
Boulder Street Association was founded in Italy in July 2009 in order to give a formal structure to the movement that organized Street Boulder Contests in the last years.
It is a free association, non-political and apolitical, with unlimited duration and non-profit, which pursues the following purposes:
- Spreading the culture of Boulder Street and the practices related;
- Expanding the knowledge in urban and metropolitan through contacts between people, organizations and associations;
- Widen the horizons of those who practice and teach this discipline to forward with passion the culture of climbing;
- Propose for meeting and gathering places in the name of cultural interests, fulfilling the social function human and civil growth, through the ideal of lifelong learning.
To achieve its goals, the Association promotes various activities, including:
- Cultural Activities: contest, events, conferences, debates, seminars, films and documents;
- Training;
- Publishing.
